Cost figures. Each cost on the site comes from a published source named next to it, with its year. Those sources use different roof sizes, materials and assumptions, and the calculator gives a rough range only. The real price comes from a roofer who has inspected your roof.

Law and permit summaries. Pages that describe Iowa Code sections, City of Davenport rules or town permit offices are plain-language summaries of public law, not legal advice. Rules change. Check with the office named on the page, such as Davenport Public Works at 563-326-7745, or ask an attorney about your own situation.

Insurance. We don't give insurance advice and don't take part in claims. Questions about your policy belong with your insurer or a licensed public adjuster you hire yourself.

Storm history. Storm details come from the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities and from FEMA records. They describe past events, not the condition of any particular roof, and they don't mean any aid program is open now.

Roofers. The roofer who receives your request runs an independent business. We don't employ, supervise or guarantee that roofer, and we make no claim about any roofer's license or registration. Checking those is up to you before you sign.

Tools. The repair-or-replace quiz and the cost calculator give general guidance based on your answers. They can't see your roof, so treat their results as a starting point.
